Description
Even the quietest desktop PCs still hum or whirr, but the Eco PC is almost whisper quiet. This is thanks to its quiet cooling fans. It also has a ribbed metal case to draw heat away from its internal components. The 160GB hard disk is big enough for thousands of documents, music files and videos. The supplied 2GB of RAM is more than enough for the sorts of tasks the Eco PC is suited to.
The Eco PC consumed 26 watts when idle, and 50 when running through CB demanding benchmark tests. This is substantially lower than a typical £600 PC, which uses about 95W when idle and 160W when active.
