Description
Wexford Festival Opera is widely recognised as Ireland's most prestigious cultural event. Now entering its 59th season, it is admired all over the world for presenting rare and neglected opera productions, which are often difficult to see elsewhere. It stages three main stage productions every year. The programme also features a superb range of concerts, recitals and other Festival events. There is also an eclectic mix of events which take place during a vibrant Fringe Festival.
The Festival has a new home at the fantastic and inspiring new Wexford Opera House (opened in 2008) and this has added a further unique dimension to the experience. Wexford Festival Opera continues to deliver a rare experience to visitors from all around the globe and one which is delivered with a sense of warmth and good fun.
Early booking for all events is essential. General Booking opens in June 2010.
